Default new style speedo/tach for my 05 super glide

This was really easy, could not believe how easy it was.
This is the new speedo /tach that is available for the Dyna's and various bikes.
I like the one with the tach to the side but it is small. I found this at a dealer on a trip to the doctors office.
I really like the large rpm tach on top. easy to see. It added low fuel to it, like is on the newer models. showing mileage left on tank.
the 99-06 model years comes with a transfer cable where the 07 up doesn't. From what I have read the transfer cable is not needed on the 07 up to transfer the mileage. took around 15 seconds to transfer, it was like wow it's done.
on the 99-06 models you just plug into the plug with th erubber cap on it under the left side cover then the tach. The rest is in the instructions.
This is on a 05 super Glide

changed pipes, had em laying around so I changed em.

The speedo is really cool, it added some of the newer models options. Fuel gauge, low fuel miles, you can change the color of the display, tach one color then speedo another color and arrow a different color or all the same. there are around 20 different colors to chose from. Oh, clock, can't forget that. LOl

Very Nice!! I'm actually pick’n up the same one today (been on order for 2weeks) for my Bob.. so after the initial programming is the rest just plug and play?

Thx for your time.

I rode around 80 miles with it and no engine light
I will post if I have any problems.
Nothing so far.
Are you using the same speedo/tach I am using? or are you using the other new one with the tach on the side of the speedo?

Does the miles remaining function actually work with it on your bike? The way I understood it it would only do this function if the bike had it to begin with which I though started in 09 or 10 model year.
