Just an idea for a thread that I thought might be helpful to all. List what all you carry tool wise on your bike.

I personally carry a small socket set (torx bits in set), a klein 5in1 screw driver, a small set of channel locks, needle nose, a leathermen and electrical tape
they are kind of thrown in there were ever they fit I am thinking about making a more specific set for the bike and making a roll bag to carry them in soon

If I am traveling I'll pack basic tools but for everyday riding... I don't carry anything.

I keep just basic tools. Screwdrivers, tye wraps, multitool, allen wrenches. My buddy says he keeps hopes and dreams in his. One other forum member a while ago said a pack of cigars and a flask of Captain Morgans.

Cell phone...credit card....basic tool kit...and the most important thing...the phone number to the roadside assistance you get from being a HOG member. Most Dynas made after the end of the EVO with any real engine or mechanical issue will require more than most can do on the side of the road. Unless your a motorcycle mech with lots of expierence and a snap on 12 drawer chest in tow the things I carry realistically are all you need.
