Default Fatties with burly slammers...

I am looking to lower the back end of my dyna with the 10.5 in Burly slammers.

Question is, I am a spritely 230 pounds, is my fat **** gonna be too much or can the burly shocks deal with my weight?

Also, is it recommended to lower front and rear, or can I do the rear only without incurring any degradation in how the bike corners, rides etc?

Thanks

Eights.

I also weigh 230. No issues whatsoever but I never ride 2up. I don't think I could get away with having a passenger, and have not tried it.

I only lowered the rear. It handles the same as it did before, and the ride quality didn't suffer noticeably either, unless I'm on a really rough road.

lowering the rear will increase your rake and trail angels, making the bike more stable in a straight line , but more difficult to corner...

by "more difficult to corner" do you mean less stable, or that I'll need to be a little more "aggressive" with push to steer and leaning in to corners?

I lowered both front and rear, but not for looks. I am vertically challenged. I did the rear first and then the front. I found cornering to be a dream once I lowered both, but it was really stiff until everything started to wear in.

it will track better going straight and the turning radius will be slightly bigger making a sharp turn a little slower. But you will not even notice it after 2min of riddin.
