Looks nice, but how does it filter, does it work differently than the normal K & N type filters or is there just a smaller one inside there?

the filter inside is a smaler one, but it works perfect.

I was thinking to get one long time ago, it looks killer.
Hopefully the incoming air is filtered clean, that is what holding me back.
