So I had some trouble a year or two ago when I tried the whole Jireh 21" wheel to stock hub and what not, but I still have the wheel and some new spokes so I thought I would give it another go. I have a couple questions about the whole project. I want to go with a 180 in the rear and wondering if I went with the Dunlop GT502 if that would be terrible with the Dunlop Elite 3 in the front? Open to any and all suggestions too. Also, since I got spokes that are meant for a 21" wheel rather than the stock 19" can I keep the stock pattern of 4 over 1 I believe? I would rather just get a whole new set of the Slotted Six Spoke wheels from Harley, but I already have this front tire and wheel set up just hope it works. Thanks for any replies guys.

 

well I been looking around some and how does an Avon Storm 2 Ultra Sport 170/60R17 in the rear with a Dunlop Elite 3 120/70R21? They are both radial but different brands which I am wondering if that would be a terrible thing. When it comes to money this seems like the cheapest way to go for me, but my bike is my life so sometimes money becomes less valuable haha. I have also looked at the Metzeler ME 880 Marathon 120/70R21 on the front and the same 170/60R17 on the rear, but then again I want to fill up that rear fender as much as i can until I change out for a wider wheel and can go 180 or 200 rear tire. The Pirelli NDs offer exactly what I am looking for but not entirely sure about the bias front and back...Anyway thanks again guys for any help on this topic I know its all over the place.
