Guys, I have had several members ask about putting our retro bags on FXRs and I could use a little help here. Since our bag has roughly the same profile as the original FXDXT bags, I was wondering if any of you have any pictures of that setup. The reason I'm asking is because it looks like to me, if we mount the bags rearwards of the shocks (like on the DYNAs), that it will stick out well past the rear fender since the strut on the FXR is a lot shorter than the Dyna. I have heard of guys putting the FXDXT bags on FXRs but have never seen one and I'm thinking they might move it a little forward and have the front edge lip cover the shock. Since our bag doesn't have that lip, we would need to rework the molds if that is the case. So, pics please if anyone has any.
