Exclamation Brake light working oppositely

After re installing my hand controls i hit the brake lever to make sure the brake light was working properly only to find out it is stuck on, and when i hit the brake it turns off (same for foot brake). So basically its doing the opposite action it should. I just replaced the front brake switch and still the same problem. Any help?

Try adjusting the front brake switch so that it activates when your control is pressed.
You may have to slide it foward a bit then press the locking tab.

It is pressing the switch, but instead of activating the light it deactivates it. Everything seems to be installed correctly (switch and locking tab) but the light is activating in the opposite manner it should

Sounds like it's wired backwards or there is a pinched wire causing a short.

Are you sure you didn't mess up the new brake switch?

Great!
best to pull them all and coat with dielectric grease.
I stuffed the fuse box then plugged them in.
Do the relays too.
