Like thread title states going to dealer tomorrow to possibly get a 13 bob its the 96 motor bare bones no abs or security

Either one you'll be comfortable riding it the first time...didn't you know that dyna's are really sportys on steroids?

The biigest difference is the comfort at higher speeds and on the freeway. The biggest thing you will have to do right away is stage one...they 96 runs a lot hotter then your sporty

I did the same, went from a iron 883 to a street bob. First thing I noticed was how smooth it rode, felt like a Cadillac! Next was the power, and that 6th gear on the highway is awesome! Congrats, and good luck! You'll love it!

 

the biggest diff is the respect you will get!! sportys are cool but when I switched I noticed I was treated better by other riders. Its kind of funny that sportys are the butt of many jokes. But once you get a bigger bike every one loves to talk about the great times they had on their sporty.

 

I really like that you did to your nighty. I can't wait to see what you do with the streetbob. I think the 103 motor is like 500 dollars more. What color?

 

I gor a '13 plain jane no sequrity and no abs with the 103" ($380 in TX). Bike is sick! Like a sporty with giant *****!

 

I'm also curious as to why not the 103? But I guess if you plan to upgrade later you can save those bucks now. 107 from a 103 or 96 is the same price.
