I own a 2004 FXDLI Dyna Low Rider and want better wind protection. I don't want a stereo or glove box or any other bells and whistles, just a nice clean Memphis Shades Batwing fairing with a short tinted windshield. Do you think I can find a photo or and article? Someone must have tried this. I see Wide Glide installation but I need to see a photo of my bike to check out the look.

Not a memphis shades, but we are going to have our Dead Center Road Captain fairing available soon. It will be flexible, in that you can use the outer as a stand alone outer fairing, and, if you end up wanting tunes down the road, you can add the inner fairing with stereo at any time.

Ours has a little more shape to the nose and is compatible with any aftermarket or Harley windshields with the current 3 hole pattern.

Also, It is sized specifically for the FX Dyna line up, so it is not quite as big as our flag ship Dead Center Fairing. We thought the FX models needed something tailored to fit.

Wife's '08 FXDL at Sturgis this past summer...MS batwing

 

Sharky, thanks for the response. I hadn't checked for replies until just now. I assumed that I would receive an email if I got any answers but I guess this forum doesn't work that way.
You confuse me a little. Your post said a MS Batwing but your photos included a couple of Dead Center Cycles pics too.
I just ordered the MS Batwing for my bike this morning so I hope it looks as good as yours.
The MS fairing does not require a headlight relocation but turn signals instead. Did you just choose to not move the turn signals?

 

I see three photos of the wifes Memphis Shades Lowrider...

We just got it on in time to head out for Sturgis; it now has the HD turn signal mirrors; stockers removed and an equalizer used...

 

Sharkey, what I was referring to was when you click on the thumbnail photos it pulls up the three of your wife plus two that are off the Dead Center Cycles web page.
I really appreciate your photos because I was not sure how this Batwing would even look on my bike. This fairing on your wifes bike looks awesome. I find it hard to find many pics of this fairing on a FXDL. Mine is a 2004 so it has a smaller front end with 39 mm fork tubes and the small headlight.
