I was going to go from forwards to mids but quickly changed my mind after testing them out.

I strongly recommend you leave your forwards on and jut mount some mid pegs on the bike to test how you like them before just changing them outright.

No problem. You can find the mounts and pegs all over pretty cheap.

I would seriously think about getting the service manual. It has loads of valuable information for working on your own bike! I personally like my feet under me when I ride

When the kit is new, they are bolts to replace when removing the inner primary, I am pretty sure you can use the existing one, other than that you wil need the sprocket looking tool, or something equivalent

Done this a few times, pm me if you need any help

Hey you might want to take a close look at your bike. On my bike, they had left the shift shaft in the primary and put a little cover over the splined end. Then there was a bracket that fixed the lever to the engine case.

Needless to say I just got rid of the forwards, took the cap off, took the bracket off and was good to go.

Majority of all riders prefer fowards but i love my mid controls, it feels better to me.

Its def a personal opinion on what feels better to the rider.
