Default Clutch not engaging?

bought my dyna last month, haven't ridden it yet (winter in NY) but when I rode it into my garage, when I pulled in the clutch and put it in first, it popped in, as if the clutch was never pulled. Also, it won't roll when I hold the clutch in when the bike is in gear. Does this sound like a cable or clutch issue, how do I further diagnose and how do I fix it?? THANKS!

Check the cable first.

Welcome to the forums and thanks for your service. Look in the DIY forum and adjust the room temp clutch at the clutch pack and cable adjustment. For information here are some fluid quantities for you. Transmission oil -20-24 ozs., primary oil-26 ozs., and oil change w/filter 2.5 qts.

How did you adjust the clutch exactly?

Wet clutches drag a lot when cold, especially Harley's. They still drag but much less when up to operating temperature. Before I start my bikes I roll them out of the heated garage. My FLHT needs to be in neutral to roll. In gear with the clutch pulled it is almost imposable to move.

Loosened cable tension, took off derby cover, loosened lock nut, backed out allen stud, tightened to gentle tension then backed off a half turn with allen key, tighten lock nut, derby cover, adjusted cable tension

Ditto, my FXD does the same thing. Once its been sitting its always roll in neutral, start it in neutral since day 1
