Default Bar Change on a 13 SB

well, i went with some 14" chubby outlawz on my new street bob. they look awesome, but i've run into a problem.
i was able to pull the wiring out far enough that i could unclip them from the holes in the frame by the headtube. the clips are small enough that there's no need to remove pins for the bar swap. just took a little finesse to get them through the corners. i buttoned everything up and none of my controls are working. headlight turns on and i hear the FI fire up, but no lights on the tank dash either. could i have pulled too much on the harness and disconnected something under the tank? blown fuse? i'll be honest, i don't have a clymer manual yet as all i've seen for sale are for 06-11 models.
i also just fitted the bike with some vieds, intake and exhaust. probably wasn't the smartest to do it all at once, but i can't think of anything from those additions that would cause the issue i'm having.
anyway, thanks in advance for any opinions. i'm hoping there's something real obvious that i'm just being a bonehead about.

I don't think you need a manual to look at everything you've already done. Your instincts are probably right about a blown fuse or some connector that isn't connected all the way.
Check the fuses first, and if all are fine go over every wire involved.

look for a fuse, or a pushed out pin on either side of the connector. if you have a multimeter run some Continuity tests
