Default Screamin eagle modular and coil

I've got a 99 FXDX with a stage one... is it worth it to invest $70 to get a performance ignition system?
pt # 31776-00

I would say not, you get a higher rpm limit but it isn't a mass of horsepower.

That's just a marketting ploy, you can use tham with stock parts and the module isn't radical.

Default ignition

If it were me I'd get an adjustable ignition like a Crane hi-4. That way as you progress with mods you've got something to work with instead of constantly buying ignition modules. You may not plan on it now but cams, heads, big bore, etc comes to mind before you know it.

Chuck it on and try it out, its an easy swap. I just use Sportster ECU's as its way cheaper and gives the same result. Its just different advance curves in the end and SE want your dollars...
