Ok, I was wondering if anyone here does any casting type work. I have an old belt buckle that isn't made anymore and would like to see if I could use it for custom caps to make things stand out a bit more. This is what I'm thinking of using.

you just want that welded on? most of HD stuff is held on with 3m double sided tape

 

Well I've got 1. I need to make a couple of copies and then figure out the making it work step. I'd like to not use the actual buckle since it's not solid and probably would not hold up to abuse well.
