Default 120R exhaust change - results

I swapped out my R&B Racing LSR-II pipes on my 120R/2000 FXDX with a set of R&B Racing Pro-stock Spyders. I'm trying to quiet it down a bit, which it did a 33% reduction in loudness. The Syders have a larger muffler which targets mininal preformance loss on the 120R. The Spyders are 2"tube and LSR-II's are smaller, I think 1 3/4".

Surprising the HP bumped up by 10% and the TQ basically stayed the same. The TQ does come on lower now. Dyno sheet attached. Yes, I know its not SAE. I always ask, but this is what I get. The absolute value of the numbers are less import that the comparison of the two curves: LSR-II verses Pro Stock Spyders...

The pipes on my 120R are the S&S Staggered Duals. My goal was the completely stock appearance. H.P. is 127 and I get along really great with the neighbors.

I just changed mine from v&h long shots to rb racing 2-1 pro stock with 2" header. Very loud, which I like, took a little off top speed and definate flat spot at 2-3000 rpm, doesn't get dyno until start of march but it took quarter mile time from 12.0 to 11.7
Using thundermax

Were the pipes the only thing you changed? It looks like it was breaking up a little (~4300rpm) on the older curve... Also, why run this one out to 6100 when the older graph stops at 5200rpm (was there a change to the tune)?

Pipes was the only change. I guess each tech has their own procedure on the dyno. Not sure why the rpm diff

Good_apollo,
Yes going through a major change, after the terminal cancer diagnosis in Oct I crawled into a bottle. Finally called my best riding buddy for help. He dragged me to rehab, which was no small feat. Was in 12 days and starting to live life again

Thank God for fellow riding brothers and sisters. We have a strong bond!

I'll post some pics, but the lsr's are much better looking. Already sold the lsr's to one of the hd techs. He begged me for them... These spyders were ordered in early July and just got them.
