Default Suspension for Fat Bo

I have a 2012 fat bob and was looking to upgrade the suspension. I ride 2 up with the wife and like to take 300 to 400 mile weekend trips. My question is what is the best suspension upgrade for 2 up riding on a fat bob?

Big question, lots of info on this subject - just try some searches on rear shocks, front shocks etc. I am starting with Ricor Intiminators on the front, but I do not ride 2 up very often. Rear shocks revolve heavily about $$$$$.

Let me add some easy info; be sure you set your stock shocks on 5 for 2up riding until you upgrade, the stock rear seat is crap for 2 up - might want to upgade there first.

There are a few threads about using touring shocks on the rear. If they are good enough for touring bikes, good enough for me!

Call Howard at motorcyclemetal.com and he will take your riding habits and weight into consideration to get what fits YOU best. He is a member here and gives a nice discount.
I have the Ohlins #3-3s from him, and they are the biggest difference I made on my bike. Forks I went with the Ricor Intiminators and they made a big difference, but not near as much as the shocks.
A bit spendy but well worth it!

I have ricor shocks and ricor intimidators and am very happy with them. Total cost for both is just over 800.
