Hey VIN 1800, if you bought from Fuel Moto, Jamie will send you a new map for the cams. If not, which is probably why you are asking, then go to the Dyna Jet website and put in all your info and download the best map you can find - it does not have to be perfect but as close as you can. Cams, size engine, and the 2 into 1 are important, but the exact type not so much. For instance, my map says Switchback but I have a Fat Bob - same size engine but different model. You just need a map that is as close as possible, that is in the DJ library then start Autotuning it. If you still have concerns, call Dyna Jet directly, they will help you out. Good luck, I bet your bike will move!

Are you going with the SE255 cams because of warranty?
The SE255 are a great touring cam but for a light bike there are better choices.
good start by the way.

I like how my 255s perform. Torque right off idle just where I want it. No early flat spots like the high RPM cams. I don't spend much time over 5k RPM.

It might just be my riding style, but I'll take low end torque over high end HP any day. 6th gear at 2000 RPM pulls like a train without lugging.

I have had em in a couple of my bikes, FL bikes. They did good. I mainly did it because of warranty but still like the performance I got from them.
personally I prefer cams that pull from 2,200+- to 5,000-5,300 rpms.

I do not like high rpm cams, I don't ride like that

I'd concentrate on the timing, the fueling will be OK from most maps and autotuning afterwards will tweak things into place. Timing though needs to be right from the get-go to match your cams and autotuning won't help with this. Get it wrong and the cams will perform worse than stock.

If you are stuck then shout up and I'll let you have a timing table that should be OK but you'll need to manually enter it.

high rpm does not equal 5500rpm lol

If you had a cam that actually performed well at 5500rpm, you would spend more time up there, I promise you

My bolt in cam made over 100ft lbs @2600rpm and was still over 90hp @5600. Pick the right cam and you will have power everywhere.

Not to hijack the OP's thread any more. I agree that he should get a close map from DynoJet and let the PV do its thing from there.

Regarding the cams, people will do what they want. If you want HP at high RPM, go for it. I'm very happy with how the SE255 gives me gobs of torque.
