can i use the 39mm docking hardware?

i know you have to get a adapter from bunking for the fairing

but the part where the fairing attaches to whats the part number for that?

i see on the HD site it has the docking hardware listed for 39mm forks i know those just clamp around the forks and then the fairing clamp onto those, can i use the 39mm for that?


basically what all do i need

1. hd fairing
2. bungking bracket adapter
3. i need the hardware that goes around the forks so the fairing can go to that (this is where im confused)

 

You need 4 49mm windshield quick disconnect clamps.

 

You need to call john conely with conleys custom cycle.

They make that fairing and the whole kit to mount it. With tilt adjustability. Specifically for your year bike

 

i read about conleys there reviews seem SO SO

 

that and his "pre order" items say "expected nov 2012" lol which was awhileeee back


how long does it take to get one from him? i did research and see you seem to be in the know about conleys

 

I have some spacers that will allow you to hard mount it with stock set up. If you want I can measure it tomorrow for you and let you know. You can also use Kury Clamps and the 39mm window clamp set.

 

what fairing type do you want from him. hd quarter style, ness style or tsport. I can call the for you if you like.

I am not in the in any more than others. I just call him and he tells me what he has. If you need something, he can get it for you. he has a lot of stuff in stock now

 

Sorry to revive this but I too am trying to figure out what I need for exactly this, have read a few threads but either im slow or didn't really get the full answer.. I have the HD 1/4 fairing kit with 39mm quick detach clamps trying to get on my 2013 wide glide. So I can order those kuryakyn 49mm clamps and the bungking bracket and call it a day? And im assuming the 39mm clamps are of no use to me so I should just try to get rid of those right? Any other things I should know to those whove done it? Thanks in advance.

Ah man that's just what I needed, nice and simple lay out. Thanks I hadn't seen that one before. Now if only I could figure out what to do since i'm missing the brackets to my kit.. guy I bought my WG off gave me the kit brand new in box, but only after going through it all and looking on line did I realize theres no brackets/screws/ or headlight gasket! Gonna hit up the parts dept and see if they can help me out but we'll see.
