The one eye sore on this beautiful bike is the stupid looking license plate holder. It sticks out a mile and ruins the look imo. I would love to get a side mount and put it on the swingarm, but there would still be the lighted bracket for the old one and its built in to the tail light structure. Has anyone successfully removed/relocated this yet? If so, could u explain how? Thanks.

i plan on relocating it to the axle once i decide which way to go in terms of lights. in the meantime, i simply removed half of the plate holder (it's a 2 piece slide) and mounted my plate vertically. it's less of an eyesore, and a good temporary solution if it's really bugging you.

 

i bought the badlands plate holder, its rock solid and sweet looking with many diff holes to move in/out or up/down

My post is near the bottom of the page, it puts the plate in the same place as the bad lands basically reusing existing parts and cost me about 20.00, plus i can run my plate vertical or sideways. /shrug

 

Thanks for the input guys. I had lost this thread for a while, but I like what i'm reading here. My main concern was removing the plate holder from it's original location and how it would look since it wouldn't match the other side. Thanks for the ideas!
