Default Fork Gators installed on my Dyna WG

with the warmer weather i was able to install the gators on my bike, the goal was to beef up the front end when my batwing is installed.I do like them but they seem to be a little long, was thinking of lowering them a little, what do you guys think.

I like em a lot. I think they're right just like they are. I don't see why you think they are too long?

I been wantin to do the same to my FXDP. Along with painting the lowers, and putting black vinyl wrap on the tubes between the trees. I really like the way yours cover the dust caps.

If you don't mind me askin, what size are the forks (39, 41?), what brand are the gaitors & where did you get them? I assume they are not the e z install types, that split down the back.

The forks are 41mm, and the gators i got off Ebay for about 40.00, not the split type, but was easy enough to install.

I think they look fine, along with the flairing and fender it makes it look heavy built,I would not lower them. I notice your floorboards what mounts did you use, they sit lower than the kits I have looked at.

The footboards are the ones HD sells, same as the switchbacks, i took a chance on them as the kit said fits 06 and up and my bike is an 02, they fit just fine.

Thanks for the info, I got a 04 Dyna and I am going to change it around, I got a wide guide front end and a fatboy front fender to put on it, I rode a 79 FLH for years, still got it also,But I miss the floor boards on the dyna,
