New pic.....Got the Switchback forks on, got a question
So got the parts to build the forks, used Progressive springs and Amsoil Shock therapy medium to finish them. Wheel is coming back tomorrow from Black Bike Wheels who redid my offset. Bought newer caliper....everything for complete Switchback frontend. So my question is this, anyone with a Switchback or newer WideGlide...which side does the thicker wheel spacer go on ?(caliper or non caliper side) Also, with the new 25mm set up I can't figure something out. When I had the 1" axle set up with the older style axle when I bolted up the wheel the taper on the caliper side if the axle would fit tight against the chamfer in the fork leg, it bolted up tight. Now when I mock up the 25mm set up the taper/step down on the axle is like 10mm away from touching the fork leg. Is there supposed to be a gap? At the very least can someone with a switchback snap a photo of both side spacers installed. Trying to figure out if I screwed something up....I ordered all the right parts.
Anyone installed a different wheel or does this look right?
With axle lined up so spacer fits against fork on right side;
Axle looks like this on left side;
Now with axle pushed tight against left side;
The right side lines up like this and keeps spacer from sitting against right side fork leg;
