Unhappy New Bike, Few Mods

I just got my 2013 Midnight Pearl Street Bob about a month ago, and now the fun begins....mods...WOO HOO. Hubby just put my V & H Black staggered short shots on last week. Boy do they look sweet
I love Willie G, so I got the gas cap, timer cover and derby cover. I thought the Willie G battery box trim would be a nice compliment, so I ordered it and it finally came in. (My engine is all black, so these subtle touches of chrome are the perfect touch.) I opened it up and it looks amazing, I'm so excited !! The picture in the book just doesn't do it justice, it's gorgeous! Hubby goes to put it on yesterday and.... it doesn't fit. The rear fender undermount brake light that I wanted, (to make me more visible to cagers)....also doesn't fit. I also wanted the fuse panel chrome trim, is it safe to say it also won't fit ?? What the heck Harley ??

Here he is.... so far I have Harley (Get a Grip) grips, Willie G fuel cap, derby cover & timer cover. Quick release windshield, black crash bars, V & H black short shots staggered & Fuelpak.

As you can see, the battery box cover and the fuse box chrome strip would just about finish him off, as I'm a simple, clean lines person. Not many toys out there yet for the 2013. He just needs a few more touches and he'll be complete. An air cleaner and horn cover that's black and chrome will be my next items, provided I can find one I like that won't bust my budget. Hubby just got a new Street Glide, so I can't be too greedy, since I did promise him a new exhaust

Your battery box is diff from my 2012, when i took off the AL decorative trim it was held on by 4 holes in the front of the box, you prob can just line it up and drill four holes, they cant be larger than 1/4in.

Very cool, nice looking scoot. Im installing my short shots tomorrow along with S&S a/c and tuner. Also have shorter shocks and kickstand to slam her down and inch and a half. Enjoy and great choice in paint. I know I am.
