Default O2 sensor plugs on V&H

I am going to be installing some V&H on my 13 bob, and I will be using a FM micro and deleting the O2 sensors per FM recommendation. On the instruction sheet for the pipes, it states to use anti seize compound when referring to installing the 02 sensors. Clearly, I want to make sure the plugs I will be using don't come loose or leak any air, so should I use the anti seize compound, or would something like regular locktite work better? what about silicone tape on the threads to prevent air leakage....or would the heat be too high? What is the best option here?

thanks.

Not dumb questions. Just use the anti-seize and make sure it is compatible with the O2 sensors, some types have lead in them. Teflon tape and loctite won't stand up to the heat. Besides, loctite is more to prevent loosening, not as a sealant.

They used to make copper anti seize for heat but I don't think heat will really effect the silver either. I doubt they will ever loosen, usually plugs will seize in exhaust. If it were me I would "never seize" just in case I ever wanted to remove them. If they leak you would probably never know it.

thanks for the responses guys. i was just concerned with them coming loose, but i guess with the high heat it makes sense that they would be more likely to seize in there. thanks again, much appreciated.

I use both, I use anti-seize on every bolt that comes out and goes back in.
I have never had a bolt come lose if it does I did not torque it correctly.
I take no chances of the bolt sticking. Had to drill and brake some off.
