Default belt guard

anyone running without the belt guard. i ask cause i cant find the bracket the holds the belt guard, i have the rear pegs on and wanna take them off. and was curious if it was a bad idea to run without the belt guard. thanks for opinions

a lot of people here have run without belt guards for a long time without any problems but if anything ever gets between the belt and pulley bad things will happen

My upper is off but I kept my lower on cuz of my lick's solo bag that's mounted on the swing arm

This is my thought also. I left the guards on my current bike for this reason, although I did take them off my last bike.

If you're running a blacked out stripped down bike, it looks cool, if not it looks better with them on IMO. If you decide to take them off, you may never have any problems, but all it takes is one small pebble to get in there & you've torn up a pulley and/or belt.

i have both upper and lower on my kids ride with me and last thing i need is one of thier pant legs getting caught up in it.
