Just about to get a 2012 SG but need to get a reasonably accurate measurement of width - worked out bars are 30.5 inches from side to side but need to know the actual practical width - bike is going to be kept through a narrow entrance.

Also width from footrest to footrest would be useful too...

I would be so grateful to any kind owner who can measure this up quickly for me and post...

Are you talking about riding it through a narrow space or when the bike is leaning on it`s stand?

 

Heres the overall dimensions (2012 FXDC)

Length 92.9 in. (2360 mm)
Overall Width 38.9 in. (988 mm)
Overall Height 48.5 in. (1232 mm)

 

Bud I'd send them ....but don't have stock bars or pegs. I do park my bike in back room of garage where opening is narrow. I rock bars back and forth. It fits fine.

Issue is a 870 mm gate.. I have more space when through.. Bar rocking I have done with other bikes, but was more concerned about peg/leg width.. Guess there is only one way to find out for sure....
