Default FXDB lower shock bolt

Does anyone know the diameter and thread pitch for the lower shock bolt on the 2013 Street Bob?

I need a longer one on the left side. While I'm at it, I want to replace both to get rid of the torx.

Good thought, but the nearest store is a few miles away and the SB is my only vehicle. I was hoping for a confirmed size so I could have them on hand before taking the old bolts out.

They are either 1/2" x 13 or M12 metric. I'll just pick up a couple of each.

I agree. Now, if Lowes would just stick the right length.

Do you need a longer one for installing a license plate mount. I have a badlands plate mount on order.

Go to a machine shop and get the right bolt for the job. A bolt isn't just a bolt! You also need the right strength bolt or the one you put in might break and cause a problem.
