Default anticipation

Bought a 2005 super glide to do a engine build with. Extra clean with 11,700 miles on it.
Rode it 6 miles. loaded it on my trailer 2 days later for the engine build. Been cold so it really didn't matter.
A slight warmer trend is moving in, 63 degrees this coming Saturday.
Starting to get the bug to ride really bad.
They are waiting on the crank case to be returned with the crank. I am having the crank built for a113 ci with forged high performance rods, welded crank, trued and balanced. timk.. bearings. They finished the transmission last Friday. using a specially built 6 speed from baker.
The heads will be finished this week, stage 4.
Cams are in 575 lift.
I am ready to ride this bike. Just got to wait a little longer.
Made a set of reduced reach forward peg adapters. Working on a back rest, needs to be taller for my wife, not big deal.
In the mean time I have cleaned 2 of my other bikes just in case I get to ride.

That sounds like it will be a beast. The 6 speed will be nice also.

I wanted a lowered gearing but did not want to lose any touring speeds.
This was my answer.
when I spoke with baker and told them who was building the engine and what he was building they informed me they had to build a custom transmission.
So i got my lower gearing with a 6 speed and touring gearing when I want it.

Actually it wasn't bad.
Normal cost is around $2,400, got the custom installed for $2,600
There are 3 gears that has to be changed and different bearings, well that is how I understood it anyway.
The bearings is the main thing that had to be changed.

The engine is being built to be as close to being bullet prof as possible.
My builder said he would grantee 100tq at 2,000 rpms.
I asked him if it would be stronger than my Dyna wide glide with the ss106, all he said was you bet it will.
When I was there there was a fellow with a custom, I do mean custom, with a 120r engine. I asked him if he was picking up his bike. He said no, Kevin built me a 113 and now he is going to build a 113 for this bike. He said his 113 will smoke his 120r

He put a 120r in, and is taking it out to go down to a 113. .? Doesn't add up.
