Default Finally!!!

Finally after 2 years i saved enough pennies to get my apes!

Went and bought my Wild1 16 inch chubbys, wiring extensions and bushings on eBay, all delivered in 2 days.

Went down to the dealer for my diamond black cables, in stock, yay!

Brake line....not in stock. 6 weeks to be delivered AAAAAAAGHH!!!

So to use my waiting time productively, any traps for the unwary I should know about when I finally do the install?

I had to put the bars away out in the back room, it's annoying the hell out me seeing them sitting on the floor instead of on top of my forks.

I'd buy the brake line from an online source and have it in a few days. Probably alot cheaper that the dealer too.

Got the Wild1's chubby 14" on mine. I love them! Good solid bars.

Not an option, I have to have one with the stupid Swiss approval docs. That means OEM or a locally custom made at double the cost.

Karl,
To prevent damaging the brake switch, be sure to do the "cardboard trick" when removing the front brake lever...

Done that trick before, actually read the manual when i changed my grips. 1/4 thick bit of leather worked fine
