Hi all, well I did it, I sold my Honda Shadow and bought a 2013 Switchback. I might miss my radiator tho. I am proud to be here. My problem, I need lower back support, I searched and cant find a solution. Replace seat with one with back support, I would also like one that my wife can sit with a sissy bar or back for her. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Corbin Dual Tour, and you can add both rider and passenger backrests to that seat.
The Mustang Wide Touring seat is also a great seat, and I believe there is a rider backrest option for those as well.

The mustang and HD Signature seat will be the widest, HD seat is actually $100 less for seat and driver backrest. I have had 2 mustangs in the past on previous bikes, good seats, went with HD this time, its a good seat, will raise you up about 3/4 " and forward as well, so will mustang, more cushion.

I had loads of lower back pain with the stock seat on my 2012 Switchback. Dealer had a seat demo / special one Saturday and I came away with the Harley Signature seat with integrated backrest for about $400. Can ride for hundreds of miles now without a break and without pain.

For the "wife" issue, I have both the Harley luggage rack with backrest and also a $99 eBay Mutazo TourPak, both on detachable sideplates so I can interchange them, of course. I saw a Switchback that had a full size Harley TourPak on it and it looked great, but it seemed like it was a pain to open the saddlebags while it was in place. That, and the price, caused me to go this less expensive route instead for now.
