I got a seat from lepera today for my 05 lowrider, a sillouette seat. It showed the fitment on dennis kirks website as all 04-05 dynas were interchangable. After recieving it directly from lepera though it shows on the box as for 04-05 Wide glide only. I can't imagine they would of changed the seats just for the wide glide? I can't just go throw this seat on my low rider since its about 3 hours away from me in storage at the moment.

Is there a difference in the mounting bracket? What gives?

 

I would call dk and request the correct seat.
I ran into this on Goldwing site. They replaced the seat including shipping both ways.

 

I called dennis kirk a little bit ago, they claim they are out of the "correct" seat for my bike but if this one doesn't work I can return it for my money back.

I see.....Did harley REALLY change anything the seat from superglide/lower rider vs the wideglide? I can't think of any reason they would of changed anything?

 

Try it and see if it fits. It's on them now.
