Default New screaming Eagle air cleaner

Removed my Arlen Ness air cleaner (stuck out to far) and replaced it with the Screaming Eagle air cleaner. I like the way it doesn't stick out so far and I can use my high way pegs easier way more comfortable. I think it looks good too.

Hey SC, I am wanting to do something simular. I have the stock HD football that my knee hits on constantly, been looking at the tapered acs for some more clearance. You did not have the inverted Arlen Ness did you? It is tapered so I thought it might work.

The inverted type AC's look to big. I think they would still get in the way. I have the standard Big Sucker. It works great for me.

I don't use highway pegs like the SC, but I do have the forward controls, so for me I need the size of the ac to be reduced toward the aft side. The HD football is definately too big towards the backside so I was hoping a round ac with a tapered profile might work, maybe the HD SE round stage 1 tapered ac?

Thanks for all the feed back I appreciate it. I had the Big Sucker II. So if any one needs a air cleaner it only has 1,500 miles on it will need new o-rings and gasket =. Let me know.

I struggled with this on my Fat Bob. I installed four different air cleaners trying to get something thinner.

Answer was an S&S tear drop air cleaner kit. The backing plate is recessed about an inch towards the engine. Makes just the right amount of difference.
