Had a flat
Past Sat, on our tat run. Had a flat on the rear tire. Since I was the one being tattoed, I rode in the car and another guy took my bike over to the station.
Anyway, he brings back the bike in 30 minutes and said they just plugged it. I have a spoked wheel (2008 FXDC). I know I have a tube as well, at least I gave the wheel guy a new 180 and tube 2 years ago when I replaced it. Anyone know if the spoked wheels are tubeless/ I was able to ride home the next day and it held air. Maybe the rim strip prevented air from leaking out, just lucky as no one would be able to remove a rear wheel to get at a tube down here.
Am replacing with mag wheel next week, but am curious why it held air.
