2006. One of 236 made. Dragonfly Green Pearl / Vivid Black. I put diamond machine HD grips, pegs, stirrups on it and a few other "trinkets". Can't wait until it gets warmer.

Sweet! Really like that color. I miss my 06 Wide Glide.

Have your bars been retrofitted? Moco replaced all the buckhorn bars that had square holes cut in the bottom for cable pass through. They were cracking at all four corners and some actually broke in the road. I had three severe cracks when mine were replaced. You can feel for 90° cut corners (as opposed to rounded corners) at the bottom of the bars between the clamps. Just a heads up.

Love my '06 Wide. You have any issues with your IPB or Rotor? Two '06 issues to beware, if you didn't already know about them.

Yea, unfortunately I know about them. I bought the bike from the dealership last summer. It had 5000 miles on it and was in flawless condition. I asked the salesman if there were any issues with the year and he said no. I bought it with the standard 90 day warranty. I found out about the issues after I posted an original picture of it here on the forum back in September.
Its not showing any signs of problems. I called several dealership and Harley Davidson. The bike has never been worked on (except for a regular used bike inspection when they got it in to sell). Harley won't cover anything on it. According to several of the service managers I spoke to.. both issues are NON issues according to them. Yea right.

I also spoke to Donny Peterson (the guru of Americal Iron) and he told me to ride it... and when it breaks fix it correctly. Upgrade the rotor/compensator cup issue with the 2007 versions and with the IPB... put in the Baker model and be done with it.
Thats exactly what I am going to do. Hopefully it won't leave me stranded too far away from home and more importantly.. hopefully my wife won't be on the back.
With that said... I love this bike.
