My streetbob did this the first time I took a curving entrance ramp onto the interstate and scared the crap out of me. Couple thousand in suspension later it rides like it should. You can blame the rider if you want, but I've ridden since I was 9, have owned 7 different bikes and am currently a motorcycle rider coach. Several of the riders in the video are HP also. Shouldn't HD do something about this?

That sucks for the peeps in the story. I totaled a GSXR600 back in 2002 so I know what its like to get thrown off a motorcycle at highway speeds.

With that said, my Street Bob has never given me reason to feel like I have to sue HD because it wobbles. It rides straight as an arrow at 100+ MPH. No wobbles on my bike and I don't have any Tru-track devices or steering stabilizers. Just Progressive lowering shocks and drop-in springs in the front with SE Heavy Fork oil. That's it!

Also, sounds like the article is not zeroing in on Dynas but rather the bagger models. Maybe all the extra plastic is causing some kind of weird wind sheer? HAHA!

This issue has been reported a lot for the touring models. I'm sure there is some truth to it. The videos look real enough. Whether HD acknowledges it or not, I'd bet they are working on a fix for newer models (if they haven't already done so.)

It's interesting that the ad at the beginning is for a law firm.

If you have experienced a wobble on a Harley like I have, True Track, Sputhe, etc should be Number 1, on your mod list. I put my TT on about 6 weeks ago and no wobbles since. Can not explain why some get it and others don't but if you get it you will want to get rid of it ASAP.

I too have a 2012 Fat Bob! I've had it up over the century mark with out any sign of a wobble or acting up of any kind. However, years ago I had a new BMW 650 and it was really stable...till I put on sattle bags! At 80 or so it would shake in the rear due to wind buffet past the bags. Must be an airodynamic gig!

im sorry, and im no pro when it comes to accidents, but by the looks of his bike, it seems he was going faster than 25-30 to have the bike that mangled.... and how was his upkeep and maintenance of the bike? pre ride inspections? i feel like theres more to his story than what he's saying.... its to easy to simply blame the moco who is aware of the problem and most likely, or i hope, taking steps to counter the wobble.

I guess I should have said where I experienced the wobble - not at high speeds but lower speeds when cornering on the hard side. Feels like a flat tire, rear end just start wobbling and normal reaction of slowing down makes it go away. If I never pushed it a little in the turns I probably would never feel the wobble. I feel like a lot of the fun of riding is zipping through a few turns now and then so I was not going to accept the wobbling - got a TT so now all is good.
