I have a solo wide tripper and love it. When it was new I had a tendency to ride too far back on the seat but it broke in quickly and I took it on 3800 mile ride. I don't think I would have been able to ride so far with out it. My longest day was from tremonton, ut to portland, or. I do not have a forward version of the seat but it should be every bit as good as the regular wide solo tripper.

i also have the wide tripper solo. i love it! very comfy. keeps you riding low into the bike not on top of it like the vintage solo. had it for about 5000 miles now and i will never buy a different seat. i also have the matching passenger pillion and my wife likes it too.
