I am trying to tune my 2000 FXD Dyna Glide. I have a stock carb, stage 1 air cleaner, and screamin eagle 2 mufflers with big city thunder baffles, getting some pop on throttle down. A friend recommended the Yost power tube said it worked great in his 95 Evo carb. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks GMH

 

what jets are in your carb right now and have you shimmed your needle?

 

I have a 48 and a 195 jet and no I have not shimmed the needle. Thanks GMH

 

How many turns out on the fuel air mixture screw, I have a 46 pilot and 185 main with F/A screw turned out 3 full turns and bike runs fine, also I have a dynojet kit installed

 

try shimming the needle up, i have 2 #4 washers under mine, and set your a/f mix screw. theres a few detailed posts on settign the a/f screw, but feel free to PM me if you run into problems
