Breather gear teeth missing

Breather gear teeth missing
So I dont see the teeth in the case, should I pull the oil pump off?

Might as well, otherwise it will nag at you until you don't enjoy riding anymore.

I am just going to blow air thru the oil filter mount on the scavenger side and see what comes into the case, otherwise I think the pump ate it.
