Default 13 bob, smoked lenses for rear, need help

I bought smoked lenses for my 13 bob, and didn't think about the fact the rear bulbs were white and not red. I can't use the amber bulbs, and I don't want to leave the rear red if the front is smoked. I'm having trouble finding a red bulb to use. Remember too that on the 13 the brake and turn signal lights are one andthe same. Can ssomeone please steer me in the right direction?

Any 1157 will do unless they change it in 13.

I was looking at those earlier. Just not sure since they say brake light, but not turn too. I'm wondering if it is different due to the integrated brake/turn light on the 13.

I am sorry, you have a 13 SB without the middle brake light, correct? Then it will be 1156

There are a lot of choice when it come to replacing those. I did the same thing on mine and went with an led bulb that looks great. One thing you'll notice though, if you dont use an OEM style bulb is the housing the bulb goes into is too deep, or the point of the funnel shape too narrow to get a bulb in there to mate to the connector. So when you are choosing a bulb, pick a long slender styled bulb otherwise it wont go in deep enough to connect. I dont know if that made any sense but, I went through about 4 pairs before I found one that worked...

This is the style I went with (Or very close to it)

This is the kind that wont fit. Notice the bulb's width at the top of where the connection is:

Hope this helps out in some way.

You want 1157 dual intensity bulbs. Running lights normal, brake/turn bright. 1156 are single intensity.

um, ok...so there seems to be some conflicting views here. i would love to know for sure for the 2013 since the brake/turn light are the same bulb. I know on the front when i replaced with the amber bulb, it was a single filament in there. I noticed the rear bulbs are double filament...because of the dual function i'm guessing? also, in the ebay ads it talks about adding an inline resistor on these LED's? is that required for this application?

The rear are 1157 dual intensity bulbs. Dual intensity means two brightness levels. Normal for running lights and brighter for brake and turn.

If you buy LED replacements, you will need dual intensity LED's (they usually say "1157" in the description.)

If you are using LED's only in the rear, you won't need resisters.
