Default 2012 Wide Glide Winter Mods

Seeing as we are a couple days into spring, even though it doesn't feel like it here lol, I figured I would post up some pictures of the mods I've done over the winter. Mainly it was the Carlini 17" Evil apes, risers and cables. I've also got a black alligator seat on order from Ed at Sick Saddles. I also took off the stock sissy bar and reflectors. I'm still trying to find plain chrome mirrors that fit my taste, which has been harder than I thought, and I want to relocate the turn signals or replace them.

Wow those bars are tall. I had 12" bars on my wide glide. Looks great man. You should think about putting those mirrors under the levers. I'm in The Poconos and waiting for that spring weather.

I'll trade you my stock chrome mirrors from my street bob for those.

And yes, those are some tall bars! Good looking bike!

Bike looks good!! What length cables did you need for the swap? I'm going with the same bars in black.

Thanks everyone. I have given it some thought about flipping my mirrors. I guess I'll see when I get my new ones.
And CB024 I ordered the kit from Carlini when I ordered the bars. The throttle and idle cables say +7" on the package. The clutch cable ended up being too short so I had to order one. The housing length was almost 76" and fits perfect. I'm not sure on the length of the brake line. Looking back I would have been happier ordering all of the cables separately from magnum shielding.
