Just bought a SE fork brace for my 39mm fxdx. Bought it used so no instructions, just curious if there's a specific way to install it?....

on a lift with no weight on tires or sitting on the ground, kickstand, no kickstand? And how hard to tighten it down...I read one guy felt his forks sticking after adding a brace, another said to do it with the wheel off then put it back on after the brace....Thanks!
