Looking to go back to mids on my 2000 FXDX. Was wondering what year model mids can I use to go back on the FXDX?

I have heard that the 06 up mids also fit and they did look similar to my 2000 FXDX mids, but I would try and score some from your era Dyna to be sure.

 

Any Super glide mid setup from 00-05 is the same. Not sure about 99, but most likely. You can make 06+ work, but with the availability on them on used market I would stay with a direct replacement.

Did you keep the rear brake reservoir used by the mids or does the forwards have one?

 

I got the bike last week and it had forwards on it so no i don't have a break reservoir from the mids. Guess I'm going to need everything to go to mids from forwards. Or can i salvage anything from the current set up?
