Default Body work/trimming needed for HD 1/4 fairing?

My HD 1/4 fairing came in this morning and I won't have a chance to test fit it or anything before sending it to paint (guy at my shop can pain it for free tomorrow)

Will this be okay? Has anyone had to trim it or anything? Or should I test fit it and make sure nothing needs to be trimmed first?

No trimming of the actual fairing necessary but you may want to check the fitment of the headlight cover and windshield. Many including myself have not been pleased with the factory HD fitment and have gone with Cee Baileys.

Shouldn't be a problem if going on a FXDX. Mine fits great out of the box on my '03. I've only heard of windshield and headlight cover problems as 619bob wrote.
