Default To wrap or not to wrap, thats the question

As you can see in my sig I have 2 into 2 I am thinking of wrapping the head pipes in black header wrap and leaving the tail end chrome. I am going fo a nice mix of black and chrome and I seen another member with the first half of the 2 into 2 powder coated in black and it looks nice but I thought it would give it a little more of an edgy look (if you will) wrapped but have the back part or the second piece of the heat shield left on and its chrome. Looking for some opinions. With the season hopefully starting right around the corner here in MN I am getting antsy and would like to make a few minor mods while I am waiting. Thanks for the help and any other suggestions would be cool. I did just add black spoke wraps which are not in the sig pic but other than that the sig pic is how shw looks.

TO ME...wrapped pipes are the worst. Black, yeah. Chrome, of course. But I don't get wrapping pipes. To each his own!

I voted no. I don't think the WG pulls off the ratty look as well as the SB does. Personally I'd go with powder coat on the heat shields.

I like wrapped pipes, but I think in your case unwrapped would look better.

Wrapped pipes can definitely look badass as we see here ^
But I think its gotta flow with the overall theme of the bike. Those chrome pipes you have no really seem to fit it well. A full black pipe would look pretty good too.

Thanks for the imput I am kind of on the fence about it, I agree with a lot of the votes actually. I dig wrapped pipes myself but was not sure this bike could pull it off. I am starting to think I would have to switch them whole theme of the bike in order for it to work.

Sissy bar notwithstanding, your WG has a nice modern look. The rounded Big Radius pipes add to that appeal. Wrapped pipes offer an old school look that (to me) would contrast the direction you've gone thus far.
