Default xieds and fuelpak

I know I"m going to hear from all of the tuner lovers out there that have something better.but I just put on about 100 miles on a 2008 superglide with a stock K&N upgrade filter, xieds, rinehart churchill exhaust, and a fuelpak, and it works very good. went down around the lakes lots of open two lane road and hills, and some small towns, a great aray of rideing conditions, then comeing back took the freeway about 50 miles,I think it would be hard for any piggyback tuner to do much better, but I do agre that you might be able to get a little more out of a dyno with the right tuner.depending who is doing the tune, but if I was going to go that route I would spend the money for a tts, sert, or power vision instead of a piggyback,so far everything I have used works, just depends on what you exspect, xieds made the bike run cooler and helped on the hesitation, fuelpak made the rest of the hesitation go away and made the bike run better yet.gas milage seems to be about the same, not enough miles yet to check.

Yeah, that is what I would expect. I used to use Power Commanders and a dyno tune but these days I recommend the Fuel Pak as its waaaaaay cheaper (no dyno run needed) and you can try different maps without losing sight of where you started.....they make it as simple as changing jets in a carby and that works for me!

I used the xieds on a 07 1200 sporty I had because it was spitting/sputtering bad with rush slip ons and screamin eagle stage 1 intake. The xieds took care of all of it and were waaaayyyy cheaper than a tuner. I have an 07 super glide now with the same exhaust and intake set up and was thinking about using the xieds because I have what feels like a very very slight hesitation sometimes. If you are not worried about getting every bit of power possible out of your engine and just want it to run right, go with the xieds, they fix the lean condition and are cheaper than a tuner

or you could buy a fuel moto micro tuner for just a few more dollars and have your bike running like a champ!
