Default Cranking time question

I recently installed the SE pro stage 4 kit on my wide glide. I noticed along with the humongous gain in power, the crank time on startup is considerably longer. Before it was starting almost immediately now it take a couple seconds. Is this something I should be concerned about and if so how do I fix it? Thanks in advance.

Do you have compression releases? If not, that could be your problem. If you do, don't forget to use them.

You have a SEPST as part of the build?

If so, check that you have ACR Enabled in Tuning Setup.

You could also look at increasing your Cranking Fuel values a little.

Oh - did you swap the plugs for anything different as part of the build?

If the ACR check comes to nought then it might be worth investing in some stock plugs just to see if it makes a difference.
