Default Fatbob Trees and wheel finally on.

First off thanks to the folks that took the time to answer my fire-drill questions - like which way was does the star nut and does the axle clamp go this way or that way.

You would think that after doing "on and off''s" with the front end three times I would remember - must be time to switch to green tea.

Anyway it's done and it feels great. I swear it handles better. no more tar snakes and she's way more responsive in and out of turns. I have to believe the combination of the 28 degree neck on my 2001 and the 16" 130 make it happen. Here's a quick pic in the garage after today's test run. I'm only running a single disk - it really shows off the wheel.

Thanks again forum members.
George

No rubbing but it is tight. Since last time, I took off the rear signals and use button head bolts to save a couple of milometers.
The FXDX shocks help too with there extra height.
Here's a rear end picture:

Interesting. The Fat Bob front end does soak up road imperfections nicely. Coming from a '95 FXDWG that followed every little groove.
