So heres the skinny, im going from 16" apes to 12" tbars on a 2011 Street Bob. For the life of me I can remember how "the throttle is routed. I bought stock length cables with the thought that 12" mini apes to 12" tbars should be a perfect match....On the side of the throttle body there is a"nub" Do I route the cable from the top down and around the nub or just down and around the grooved part of the throttle body. I took a picture and labeled it bc im sure this is the most poorly worded post...ever... any before the flaming starts I HAVE A SERVICE MANUAL. but it doesnt say merde about the nub. When I dont route it around the nub the cables work perfect. but when i do, they are about 1.5 inches short. I want to make sure im not going to break anything that doesnt need breaking.
