Default Good bye and Good luck boys

Hey guys,
Wanted to say thanks for all the help and info I received from this forum. This has become my favorite daily read online. Well, a bit sad to say that I traded my fatbob in for a '13 Road Glide custom in Big Blue Pearl. I loved my fatbob but for a number of reasons the RG is a better fit for me while I only have 1 bike. I was planning to keep it and buy a RG when it was paid off but this weekend I got an offer to trade it in that I could not pass up.

There is a lot of cool people and badass dyna's on here. I will surf this forum again from time to time, look forward to seeing everyone's bikes progress. I imagine I will mostly be in the bagger forums now.

Dont think I went geezer glide on ya's I got a nasty build already in progress:

SE 255 cams w/SE Came plate
SE Race Tuner
Vance and Hines black 2 into 1 Headers
CFR dual mufflers - black - if you havent heard these, look them up or drive to dealer cuz they are the best sounding pipe on a Harley I've ever heard-BY FAR.
16" Paul Yaffe Monkey bars
Black braided stainless cables

I was able to take it up into the mountains this weekend and get some miles on her while she is bone stock and she handles way better than I thought she would. Once i get my legs stretched out on highway pegs and hands up tall on some apes I will be super comfy.

Keep on keepin on boys!

Good luck with the new bike! Sounds like you're not really leaving, just moving forward. Congrats and enjoy!

I've thought about going to a RGC. .but I've put too much into my Dyna. For now I'm making it more touring friendly and will get a 2nd bike some day. Can't afford a bike now and can't see getting rid of the one I have.

Ahh. The Road Glide with CFRs! Nice. Congrats on the new bike. I heard some of those pipes on some bikes on YouTube and thought they were amazing sounding. Told my friend and sent him a link. Then the local deal got some in and he went and nabbed them for his Road King.

Ride safe!

Good luck with the RG! Great bike. I picked up a 2010 a year and a half ago and it's an awesome bike. I went with a 107" and some other motor work and it really woke it up. Have fun.
