Default 2006 street bob with code u1255. Please help

I ran the codes on my street bob today and got one for the 02 sensor and another for u1255 which is a serial data error. Does anyone know what this code means and what needs to be replaced to fix it and will it hurt my bike? The bike seems like its running fine. The only problem i notice is that sometimes when i start it up (usually when its hot) it feels like it needs to crank more before it fires. Almost like it kind of struggles. Could this be because of the 02 sensor? thanks

Have you had any work done recently? If so, start looking there. The serial data error could be a loose wire/bad connection, so check the wiring on your O2 sensors. Those sensors don't last forever, so you might have a faulty one.
A starting problem usually isn't due to an O2 sensor, more likely fuel pump loss of pressure. Usual suspects are the fuel pump relay or hole in internal line.

One of the 02 sensors is broken. The bike starts fine when it's cold but once it get hot it feels like it takes more to start. If it was the fuel pump would it do it all the time?
