Default Dyna Footboard Kit DOESN'T fit...

...with Vance and Hines Big Radius 2-1, or 2-2 for that matter. The lower pipe is in the way (NOT just the heat shield, so trimming is out of the question). Many of you told me so, but I had to find out for myself.

My only options are:

1 - Swap my exhaust
2 - Have a custom rear mount fabricated for the exhaust side
3 - Scrap the project, sell the kit, and get the reduced reach forward controls.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. I really want the boards, but I like my exhaust. I also don't want to drop a ton of money at a machine shop, and I don't think there's any way to weld up a new mount and have it look good. I've got some decisions to make.

Try using spacers to move it out a bit. Or sell the floorboard kit and buy the premium floorboards from kuryakyn . You did buy the Harley floorboards for the switchback, right?

Few options for footboard mounting, unlimited options for exhaust. The full size footboards for the FLD are worth coming up with another exhaust that you can learn to love.

Consider these boards. Just as comfortable as regular boards. My opinion it's not worth it to trash your exhaust.

Tepidy, can you take a picture of your setup from the side?

These boards can be adjusted to be flat or any angle. Also have 5 mounting options on position (forward back high or low) as well as the cant angle. About $200.00 with the additional attachment (male to female) splines.

Where do you get these? I was hoping to put on footboards but I have the stock head pipe.
